Took up MSEs offer of 72 plants for £20  (inc p&p) but today those same plants are for sale @ £9.99 - £5 cheaper.   So the MSE deal costs us money instead of saving money.

Ordered from them before, tiny tiny dead plants arrived, gave them a 2nd chance and same.

Plugs are a lot of hard work. I'm just saying.

I bought plug plants last year from Dobies and at the same time planted seeds, only 1 variety of the plugs did as well as the planted from seed and 2 of the tomato varieties had no fruit at all in the same polytunnel as several others. These things are worth a try, but this year I have planted everything from seed.

I've never found them to be hard work. Germinating seeds and pricking them out is my idea of hard going! The plug plants I've had from GardeningDirect have been excellent and are already growing beautifully, especially the geraniums and busy lizzies.

The best and easiest plants are the "garden ready" variety, I ordered 60 garden ready gazinias from mirror gardening yesterday for £29 by the time they arrive they can go straight out into the garden

    https://www.mirrorgardenoffers.co.uk/gazania-super-colour-mixed-garden-ready-collection-1

free del on all plants as well
