Not sure if this is a question for our solar panel company but could we add an immersion diversion to our existing solar panel installation?

If there isn't a smart meter they won't know what, if anything, is being exported.

Personally, anything that isn't sealed, ie. beyond the consumer unit, isn't anybody else's business.
