Re-mortgaging from overseas

Hi 

We currently live in NZ and own a property outright in London. We would like to remortgage it to take some equity out in order to fund a purchase here in NZ. The property is currently let. Doe anyone have any experience of this, or could recommend a broker who might be able to help us?

    @PMH2021 In principle, getting an expat-BTL mortgage on an unencumbered already let property as an expat earning in NZD is a fairly straightforward exercise.
    The rates available will be higher than if you were a UK resident and the numbers (minimum income and rent) will need to stack up for the amount you are looking to borrow.
