Credit clean up

Hi all,
Just in regards to credit file cleanup, I have just moved address and doing the cleanup process following discharge.
Barclaycard have emailed requesting my current address before they will amend anything on my credit file, I have responded with the address they had on file and a copy of all documents including credit report to show all my addresses etc
They are still saying they want my current postal address.
I'm not really sure I want them to have it as no other company who have updated my file requested it, even barclays where I had an overdraft updated my file but barclaycard who are apparently separate have said without it they will not progress my request.
Where do I stand with this? If I don't want to provide it do they still have to update my file?
