Who did you get your home report done by? I was hoping to just get a retype of the home report done but have paid the full valuation. It was done by Shepherds.Bon18 said:

Have been stalking the forum for a few weeks now and just wanted to share our timeline - I know other people's timelines have helped me stay (relatively!) calm!
Ours is an odd case - a joint remortage but also change of borrowers, in Scotland - which is still quite new for Bluestone I believe.
Our credit isn't great - ongoing/almost finished DMP, defaults (+5 years ago) a cleared CCJ almost 4 years ago.
However, we went through as a "clear" application in their system.
LTV is bang on 80% - remortgaging to extend and pay off some debts.
19.11.21 Application submitted by broker with all the usual bog standard documents for packaging
22.11.21 requested 2 yrs worth mortgage payments proof and a reprint of one P60 (the edge margin hadn't printed properly - we couldn't supply another one, so the original was accepted)
25.11.21 over to case handler
26.11.21 requested newest bank statements from both
29.11.21 supplied credit commitment info which are to be paid off and clarify why my ex had missed child maintenance payment in July (he paid twice in August!)
01.12.21 the only real wobbly moment! They asked for a home report dated in the last 3 months - not possible - we've been living there for 11 years. Also, they had told us that the valuation would be free (presumably because its a re-mortgage?)
02.12.21 confirmed today that the valuation is free and that someone will be in touch over the next few days to arrange.
I'm not getting out the champagne just yet - experience has taught me better than that! But, fingers crossed all is moving along as it should and we really can't complain about the length of time - we are only 2 weeks tomorrow. (I would have sworn it was much, much longer than that though.........). Fingers crossed for news in the next few days.0
