Accord Mortgages - Yay or nay?

Hi all,
My son and his partner have recently just found a property they would like to go ahead and buy. His first application with TSB was rejected due to it being on a flat on 90% LTV. Apparently they won't accept anything over 85% LTV. I completely understand during this time that lenders don't want to lend...
He's actually had a better deal through Accord Mortgages - which apparently is part of Yorkshire BS umbrella, but have any of you used them?
Ultimately my though is that if they're willing to lend the money, and it's a better deal then to go for it. I've personally never had to contact my lender for anything else other than goodbye at the end of my term, but you never know...
What are your thoughts?
