in Cutting tax
I submitted my tax return on line in October last year, but it still hasn't been properly registered on their system. I have quite a substantial income from abroad that isn't taxed at source. The HMRC calculator has ignored this and only calculated tax owed on the UK income. I have tried to tell them about this, but until the self assessment is fully loaded on their system, the call handlers can't do anything. I am now submitting another tax return and wonder whether this will result in an underpayment again for this year. What is the situation? I am worried I will suddenly get a huge bill. Should I submit on line or do a paper submission in the hope that HMRC will actually record my tax return properly.

What did your calculation show?
What does ‘fully loaded on the system’ mean? It doesn’t wash with me that you submitted in October and has not been processed yet.Can you view the submission receipt?0 -
if tax has been charged then the return has processed.
Have the foreign income pages not captured?
Have you checked your online copy to see what pages are shown and what the calculation shows?0 -

He may be using the term not fully loaded because the foreign income part is missing.
Checking what is saved on his self assessment return will confirm whether the foreign pages are there and included in the tax calculation.
If they are, then it is a processing error at HMRC'S end.
If the pages are there but the foreign income is a not included in the calculation then that is a different error either in the software or something the OP has done.
