Erudio student loans - Been sent to Drysden Fairfax

My girlfriend has a student loan from over 25 years ago. She always deferred without issue as her earnings were not high enough. 

Originally it was with Student Loan Company. It was passed to Erudio a few years ago. Last letter she got was 2017 and said they would contact 8 weeks before end of deferment period, this never happened. It was passed as arrears ( how can there be arrears in the first place as she never qualified to pay!)
in September 2019. 

Now Drysden says it needs to be paid in full by 2nd May or there will be a CCJ. I have asked Drysden to provide correspondence from Euredio.

Can someone advise where we stand and what can we do moving forward. It’s old mortgage style loan I believe.
