Delay getting decision from Zopa - advice please
I applied for a loan two weeks ago with Zopa after doing MSE eligibility checks and checking best deals. I am a home owner and need some work doing to the house. I have no other loans and no credit cards. After a week I got in touch and they confirmed that they had got my application but said there were delays as they had received so many applications following easing of lockdown. I contacted them twice this week, first they said they would send an email to the senior Underwriting team, and when nobody contacted me I got in touch with the next day and they said it was because I had not uploaded any documents. I explained no one had been in touch with me and no one had asked for any documents. Beginning to feel stuck in no mans land But do I keep contacting them every day or should I go some where else. The work on the house due to start in 3 weeks !! And how will it look on my credit history if I go somewhere else. I would be grateful for your suggestions.

Going somewhere else will just mean another hard search. That needn't be a problem if your files are in good shape.0

thanks for your reply - there is no reason for them not to be in good shape. If I apply elsewhere won't it just look like Zopa refused me a loan in which case that could have a negative impact on my credit history

No. It'll just look like a search.0
