Mortgages that accept informal child maintenance

Hi, I’m looking for some advice... my husband and I separated about a year ago. We have not started divorce proceedings but he pays me a generous child maintenance payment each week - we have not been through the courts to agree this but it has been paid every week for the last few months.
Before we separated we rented a house which I have stayed in with our children. I desperately want to give us some security and have been saving money for a mortgage deposit and now, with the 95% mortgage scheme, I have enough savings for a deposit.  I earn a decent wage but would struggle to get a big enough mortgage with my employment income alone. The maintenance payments would make all the difference. Are there any lenders that take informal maintenance payment a into account in affordability calculations? As I say I can prove weekly payments on bank statements. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks.

@bellamay10 There are a handful of lenders who will consider non-court/CSA child maintenance payments as long as a regular track record (3-6 months depending on the lender) can be evidenced.

The exact % that will be considered will differ based on the lender and only a couple of them are in the 95% LTV space.

I would recommend getting in touch with a broker who can look at this and the rest of your scenario and give you a realistic idea of your options.
