In the absence of clear direction to the contrary you are on a debt free wannabee page so its a reasonable assumption to make.

Mis-traces happen every day, they won`t provide evidence of this debt, you never pay a debt unless it is evidenced first.
Common sense approach here please, debt collectors chase the wrong debtor all the time, never assume anything is correct.

I had a dispute with none other than the Inland Revenue who were claiming £2500.00 from me on penalties. I disputed it, they inundated me with threatening letter after they made their final decision on my appeal. I took it to a tribunal. The date for the hearing in the tribunal was fixed. Shortly before the hearing, HMRC withdrew its claim.......0 -
