SFE student loan declined, now what? Should we use a private SF company?
Our son has been declined his student loan by SFE based on residency as we lived away from the UK for 10 years. He doesn't meet the 3 year residency in the UK rule, he is born here and a British passport holder/citizen. Doesn't seem to matter. So my question is which is the best way for us to get financial support? Have no savings and can't afford to pay 800£ per month for his fees. We are not home owners. Should we take a personal loan? Or have our son apply for a loan with a private student loan company? HELP or ADVISE WELCOMED!

You're highly unlikely to get enough loan to cover the fees for 3 years or more.
Help or advice - does he need to go to university right now? Can he work for a bit and then apply? He may find the work more beneficial anyway0
