Could they be going into junk/spam  folder?

Good thought, but no, not visibly. I know some things get filtered out without us ever seeing them, but I do check what gets through.

Plus, that wouldn't explain why the changed tax codes do not show up when I login to the employer portal ...

Quietly losing the will to live here ...

I posted on the HMRC Community Forums, without much hope or expectation. Got a reply, saying I needed to phone the Online Services Helpdesk as it might need to be escalated.

Before I got round to doing that, I (as an individual) received an amended tax code notice through the post. I think this was triggered by my last set of phone calls, they said they would re-issue my tax code in the hope that would push it through to the employer. It didn't.

So, Online Services Helpdesk said sorry, they couldn't help, phone the Employer helpline. Employer helpline said they couldn't help, because everything was correctly set up for me to receive notifications online, so it was definitely an online services issue, and I should ask them to escalate it.

I'll be escalating it to a complaint at this rate ...

Oh yes, and I've tried logging in to the Community Forums to update my post there, but I can't login, doesn't like my password, so I change it, still doesn't like it.  :(

Just spoke to someone in Online Services who took ownership and is sorting it out!

Apparently our employer reference was 'misaligned'.
