Declined by Aldermore following DiP accept - any experience of this here?

Hi there ,
I was wondering if anyone has experienced being declined by Aldermore following underwriting? 

My broker has submitted my application so I now, like so many others on here, am paranoidly panicking about every single thing I can think of that may decline my offer. 

I was nervous about what my affordability looks like because my mortgage payments Will be more than I pay now for rent. A recent pay rise and additional allowance aren’t on my payslips just yet so I have provided my contract and letter from my employer stating that this is effective from January and will be backdated in April with standard payments going forward. My broker assures me this is ok but is one of the many things I am questioning. 

Any experience shares of similar scenarios would be appreciated, thanks 😊

I had the similar experience about a month ago. I was devastated. My broker is now try Bluestone. I will see how that one goes,,,,,,patiently waiting

I have an application in with Aldermore at the moment, valuation is Wednesday so should have an answer within the next week. There's another thread called Aldermore - Process with a few of us and I've only seen one decline so far, obv that's a very small number of people though. How long ago was your application submitted?

This was us yesterday. With aldermore. 

We had DIP house had sold on it was instructing solicitor as per instructions to do so then underwriting pulled it out. I’m heartbroken and now back to looking for another lender
