So if the account was settled in 2014 then, if Amigo's policy is to delete customer data six years after the end of the relationship, highly likely that they have deleted your records.

From a GDPR position deleting data as soon as possible makes sense. If you do a GDPR request they have to provide any data they hold, if they've deleted it they have nothing to give you.

Thanks for all your replies, the time with Amigo was between  2012 - 2014 ish.

Yes, the account has been settled with Amigo, its strictly about compensation.
Then the onus is entirely on you to substantiate your assertion.

To be honest, I wouldn`t bother, as the scheme of arrangement Amigo has put forward was agreed by the High court last month.

This means even if your complaint is upheld, and that will be an uphill struggle, you will get back only around 5% of what would have originally been due.

But it cost`s nothing to progress this.

    I wish you luck.

Thanks for all your help and advice, I proceed with the documentation I had and it has been upheld and backdated to my original contact dare with them, which was prior to the court outcome I 🤔, as I've received £2786 back from them.
So thanks alot for your support!
