Right to buy mortgage

Hi everyone!
I am hoping this hasn't been answered elsewhere, I have checked before posting...
My husband and I are finally in a position to buy our first home together.
We have applied to use the right to buy scheme as we have lived in our council house for a long time and should be eligible.
Whilst waiting to hear if our application has been approved we have been looking into mortgage's.
It never crossed our minds before but it seems that some lenders will not take on RTB mortgages.
I was hoping for some recommendations or advice please .

@melissaTM It's nothing to worry about, there are a good number of mainstream lenders who offer RTB mortgages. Once you have your S125 from the council, you can start looking at options for a mortgage either using a broker or direct.
