If you are investing for capital growth and you have time to ride out the volatility of the stock market is it widely accepted that A MEDIUM RISK INVESTMENT STRATEGY is a good place to start.

Also if one is paying a regular premium pound cost averaging means one buys more units when the fund reduces in value and less when it increases in value.

If has been fortunate enough to build up a large pension fund. It is reasonable to pursue A CAUTIOUS INVESTMENT STRATEGY to preserve the large fund i.e. take less risk.

Well I have just requested an up to date transfer value and it has risen again from £879k to £976k. Eye watering sites. Again with 3 years and 4 months until I can draw the full pension of £23000pa it is making me consider.

A bit late to do a simple transfer now, although with that pot size you'll have no shortage of IFAs willing to give you expensive advice.
