Coventry DIP

Hi!
I've had a DIP approved from Coventry BS through a broker for a 95% mortgage. From what I've seen on here and the web they do a hard search to get to this point. I was told by a different broker that if my partner and I didn't have 'excellent' credit scores we wouldn't stand a chance. We both have 'good' credit scores, but my questions is (although I know I can't get a definitive answer) if my DIP was approved using a hard check, is this a good indication that my full mortgage application will be approved? (assuming nothing changes between now and completion).
Thanks!

@zoe1910 A broker DIP (whether soft-check or hard-check) is indeed a positive indication.
Your Experian/Clearscore/CreditKarma credit-score being "good" or "excellent" doesn't really matter, it's what's in the credit history that lenders look at in different ways.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
