Santander or Barclays
I’m wanting to get a 10k loan for home improvements.
I bank with both Barclays and Santander.
I bank with both Barclays and Santander.
I’ve had a loan with Barclays before and like the the app tells you the rate your going to get before you apply. In this case it’s 4.3%.
should I try applying for a Santander loan and risk not getting the 3% rate or just go straight for the Barclays at 4.3%?
TIA

It depends on your risk profile and whether you meet their criteria.
The only practical solution is probably to apply for both simultaneously.1 -

I would apply with your own bank if its a low interest rate and see what they say, because they know you best.1
