Enjoying my break so far, I met up with a friend on Sunday for lunch and a walk and have been to the gym the last couple of days. I feel my fitness has been slipping of late and needs sorting out as I’m not getting any younger 🙄
I have stayed on track diet wise the last couple of days and feeling better for it too. Might get half a stone off that I need to shift before my birthday next month but more to the point I will be healthier!
Hopefully this is money saving as I don’t want to buy new clothes and need to be fit to work.Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763

So it’s been a week of meeting up with friends, walking and eating…
I have prepped a few meals and made soup for the week ahead. Hopefully this will help with the diet and also finances. Now need to lose nearly a stone though so must knuckle down and get on with that.
A conversation with El made me realise it’s now only around 72 months until I hope to retire so it’s getting closer and more real by the minute! Time to give myself a shake I think…

There’s snow on them there hills and snow forecast for tonight. It was chilly at the beach today but thankfully the wind has died down at last.
