    Or here!

Skint - that photo was amazing - almost looked like a painting the colours were so tonally harmonious and muted.

I’m off for a few days and resting! I am almost back to normal but realise I need more down time to myself much as I love my friends😂 I am still not dressed and have spent the morning putting washing on etc, drinking tea and providing a seat for her majesty! I also did a huge amount of language practice too😇

Today’s plan is a rainy run, supermarket shopping and chilling. Tree needs to go up this weekend and presents to buy but I will get there… I am thinking I will use the artificial tree this year as ds and I seem to be unable to find a time we are both off and I can’t face doing it alone and don’t trust him not to just get the first one he sees😂

It’s well worth learning Italian. English isn’t nearly as widely / well spoken in Italy as in Germany or Holland and the bit of Italian I had learned made  all the difference when I went there 😊

I went to a nearby town for a craft market today and got a few presents, then decided to walk into the town. Got absolutely soaked despite having a brolly, I have spent the rest of the afternoon on the sofa with the cat and blankets 😂

Met up with a friend in the city yesterday and had a great day, the Christmas markets were disappointing but we had a couple of mulled wines and headed out for something to eat at a pop up place. Hopefully we will have more time to get together in the new year.

Today will be tidying, running, buying presents and maybe putting the tree up as it’s back to work tomorrow.
