in Cutting tax
I am on a pension which has been given a tax code of 920 M !!!!!!
What does the !!!!!! mean ?
And how will it affect me .

On its own it means cumulative as in normal. If it has NON in front of it then it means each month is taxed in isolation irrespective of the rest of the year's earnings which would be unusual at the start of the year.

They still owe me £185 from over taxing me last TY - When I earmed less than my tax free allowance and have simply added the £185 to my allowance for this TY - When I shall be earning even less than last year !I have had several webchats with HMRC but they don't seem capable of understanding this0

920M means very little, it is the components of the code which result in the 920 which are important.
HMRC do not repay tax overpaid in one tax year by amending the code of another tax year.
You will need to give a lot more detail for anyone to be able help.0
