Help with broker / mortgage with Default

Hi.

can anyone advise / recommend please.

seperating and accepted offer on our house.
I will have approx 30% deposit.
I recently found out I have a default from October 2020 - partner hid it from me but I need to move on from that.
will I be able to get a mortgage?
I have 2 credit cards with no missed payments and I’ll pay them off in full with equity.
I don’t think high street will touch me. Current mortgage with Halifax for 9 years but seems that is irrelevant.
Can an experienced broker in adverse DM me?

The brokers on here are not allowed to message you, but you can message them...
I'd suggest waiting to see who responds with comments and then reach out to one of them...
To help them comment usefully, has the Oct '20 default been satisfied now or is it still outstanding?

    - Is that the only adverse on your credit file
    - What's the size of the default, type of account, date registered and have you now satisfied it
    - Even for expensive adverse options, you will likely need 6 months to pass from the date the default was registered

@redapple1 Based on the limited info in your posts, you should have adverse options available at 70% LTV, assuming affordability, etc stack up.
