I don’t have 2 years evidence of work, can I still get a mortgage?

Due to personal reason, I unfortunately don’t have the proof that I’ve employed in a full time job for 2 years (not for many years). I’m wondering if this is going to stop me from being approved a mortgage? When I’m in a full time job, that’s of course when I’ll apply for a mortgage, and the plan is to be able to provide them 6 months payslips atleast.
Also, I was employed for 2 years in a full time job many years ago, if anything goes wrong will that count as anything to someone giving me a mortgage?
Thanks a lot for any type of help!

It's all about having the right lender for your circumstances, you'll be better off using a broker when the time comes as they will discuss it all with you.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
