Hello everyone

Hope you are all safe. I’m unsure if this is the right board but I am hoping for some general advice/experiences.

We are considering investing in a small buy to let property. In the uk you need a min 20-25% deposit for this.

Another option which is where I wanted advice is buying abroad but I know little about getting a mortgage abroad, where we could rent it (I guess you’d need a management company there to handle it), or if you’d holiday let it but then again that could be more hassle
than it’s worth (but you would have ‘free’ accommodation for holidays).

Any advice appreciated!
