Halifax mortgage appointment

Hi, we have booked an appointment with Halifax to apply for our mortgage. Would the advisor be able to tell us if we passed the credit check over the phone or if it needs to go to the underwriting team... first time buyer

I didn't ask about it during mine that but I'm pretty sure the credit check was done the day after my appointment. Once I passed that the only thing outstanding was the valuation. If they cannot tell you during the appointment you'll probably find out fairly quickly afterwards.
