Hi does anyone know if you can claim this tax break from HMRC if your home is classed as your base ?
Work do not pay towards any electric or other costs but any travel expenses are paid from home so mileage etc is claimed from home to wherever they travel.
Thanks !

If your base location is home you have always been able to claim the tax relief.
You can follow how to claim from the main article - https://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2020/04/martin-lewis--working-from-home-due-to-coronavirus--claim-p6-wk-/1 -
Great thank you !0

This is, of course, subject to you meeting the eligibility requirements - such as substantive duties being carried out at home and no facilities available at your employer's premises for you to use, not working at home from choice etc.
