I use it to provide extra tasty rind in marmalade but this year's supply now made so looking for other interesting uses please. Don,t like to add too much of it to compost heap as it's slower than other things to decompose.

Candied peel or fridge freshner.5

If you shred it super fine, you can use it to add colour and flavour to all sorts, including rice side dishes, or salads for example.4

Allow to dry out, then use as fragrant fire kindling!3

Firelighters and you can put it, shredded up a bit, around tender plants to prevent them being dug up by cats.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back3

You could try these recipes:
Clemencello recipe | delicious. magazine This says it is just like lemoncello but uses the zest of 16 clementines and will keep for 8 -12 months
or Cranberry and orange vodka recipe | delicious. magazine this says it only takes 15 mins to make and uses frozen cranberries.
or either switch the lemon zest for your orange or tangerine zest or add yours in as extra flavouring for any of these

or if you don't fancy a sweet recipe how about making a tajín with it or a pangritata
Cauliflower and Chickpea Salad with Harissa Recipe - olivemagazine the lemon pangritata in this recipe is a poem and I'm sure you could just sub in your orange or tangerine as a straight swap
Roasted Cauliflower Florets with Tajín Recipe - olivemagazine the tajín in this recipe makes the whole thing and is a really simple stirring together of salt, lime zest and mild chilli powder and again I'm sure you could sub in any zest you liked as a straight swap.
Yotam Ottolenghi’s traybake recipes | Food | The Guardian the first recipe in this article has a lovely topping made with feta, parsley, lemon zest, caraway seeds and olive oil where again I'm sure you could do a straight swap.

Add it to cranberry sauce or Cumberland sauce; home made or bought. Bought cranberry sauce usually needs something to bring the flavour out.
Put strips on chicken before cooking.
My grandmother used to make a lovely fruit cake with marmalade in it. I imagine peel would have a similar effect, finely grated.1 -
If you bake, dry until it snaps when bent then whizz it up in a coffee grinder to make powder. Add a teaspoon or two to plain cakes, biscuits etc.
Or keep it whole, and add to a beef stew (remember to fish it out afterwards)2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used
