Personal Loan Repayment
Options
Hi All,
Some advice if I may, I upgraded the windows at home at the end of 2019 which were installed in early 2020. Having only moved in shortly before that I didn't want to use savings and have a limited cash flow for other requirements. So I took out a 96-month finance agreement with the intention of repaying that early. Fast forward fourteen months (yes should have done it sooner), i've just got off the phone with Shawbrook Bank where they have informed me they don't take credit cards. My intention was to pay with one card, get the air miles and move to a 0% balance transfer card. I have asked for a copy of my original credit agreement and explained this was never highlighted at the time hence this being missold, logged a formal complaint etc. But I am under no illusion this will get me anywhere.
So two questions:
1 - What rights do I have, is this standard practice? Its been a few years since I have had any kind of personal loan but I am sure that with most banks you can use a credit card, even if there is a fee.
2 - Since I assume I will have no luck are there any workarounds that anyone knows of?
Would appreciate any help/advice/direction!

This is standard for most credit agreements.
You have to either look at balance transfer, or use the purchase credit card for other spending, saving the cash in your account to use towards overpaying the loan.0
