Earl Shilton BS mortgage application timeline

Hi, does anyone have any recent experience of receiving a mortgage offer from Earl Shilton? My buyers are using them, and this week I was hoping to agree dates for exchange but I've found out today that they haven't even had their offer yet. The process has taken 3 months so far, and the valuation was carried out by ES almost a month ago. Is this typical?
Thanks
Thanks

Earl Shilton! That is a name I have not come across for a while. We used to send a few cases to them, they never took 3 months to get an offer issued. No lender should be taking 3 months that suggests your buyers are struggling to get an offer - I doubt anyones first choice is ESBS.
You probably need to have a pretty frank conversation with them to find out what the hold up is as I do not believe it is the lender.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
