Hi there guys
I haven't started a thread before so my apologies if its not the best but I've noticed a great combination of offers at Dell outlet today on Optiplex and Dimension systems.
The 3 offers detailed below allowed me to buy a Dimension 3000 (Cel 2.66)
for £111, I know its a basic machine but it is cheap!!
(starting price on dell outlet was £230.18 + vat +delivery = £328.04)
Thats 66% off! So I'm quite happy!
1) 15" Value Flat Panel Monitor or £85 off
"FOR THIS WEEKEND ONLY - When you buy any Dell Outlet Dimension or OptiPlex, you will automatically recieve a 15" Value Flat Panel monitor at no extra charge!
However, should you choose not to have a monitor included n your order, you will save £85-00 (inc VAT). All you need to do is select the "Remove Monitor Offer" during checkout and the price will be reduced.
Offer valid from 12h00 Friday 10th of June 2005 and ends at midnight Sunday 12th of June 2005. "
2) Discount Voucher Offer!! £50 off
"To avail of this offer all you need to do is select your desired system, add it to your shopping cart, then tick the "SAVE £50.00" (€79.00) offer in the Software and Peripherals Section once you have added your system to the shopping cart ! It's that simple!
Offer Ends Thursday 16th of June 2005"
3) Cheap delivery
"£10.00 Delivery Madness
When you purchase ANY Dell System from Dell Outlet, it will be delivered to you for only £10.00 inc VAT)! Normally: £57.58
Simply purchase ANY Dell System at Outlet between Friday 3rd of June 2005 and Thursday 16th of June 2005 and during the checkout process, your order will be automatically updated to reflect our DELIVERY MADNESS OFFER - it's that easy!
Offer Ends Midnight Thursday 16th of June 2005. "
So this weekend has alot going for it, especially when you bear in mind that the outlet systems are usually cheaper than the offers anyway
I hope some one else benefits from this!

It updates every hour - not sure of the time, so if you wait around a good deal should come along sooner or later - this is the direct link

I can't get any of these links to work.
The site keeps sending me back to :

What am I missing?
Incidentally, I have a need to buy a laptop quickly. Maybe someone knows of some good deals.
Must haves:
Lightweight - good battery life (2 hours plus) - CDRW & DVD (ideally DVD RW) - great customer service backup.
Ideally with navigational nipple and touch pad and Wireless also.0 -

Re laptop any of the Dell Latitudes should fit the bill. I picked up a D600 a couple of years ago from the Dell Outlet for under £500 delivered (512Mb ram, Centrino processor, 60GB HDD, wifi, CDRW+DVD & floppy, 3hr battery life etc.) Came with 3 year next day warranty in that price.
Dell Outlet offers change weekly with varying discounts and I was checking the outlet every hour during the work day until one of the spec I wanted came up. At the time it was approx 50% less than the Dell retail price for the same spec. machine.
Only downside is if you need it quickly Dell might not be the way to go. It took me about 3 weeks before I found one that fitted the bill at a bargain price, I had to wait nearly 2 weeks for it to be packed and shipped from Ireland.
It's been excellent except for it has now developed a nasty habit of killing batteries which aren't cheap (£80 typically). Just waiting on a replacement battery from Dell so I can prove it is the laptop and not the fact I using a nasty generic battery from eBay. Not worried though as it is still under warranty!

I just went to https://www.dell.co.uk and clicked on Dell outlet.
It tells you all about the offers as you click through the pages.
Remember all 3 deals only apply to dimension/optiplex desktops.
Odd Fellow, when i had a look there were a few Inspiron 510m at a resonable price: £445 all in. centrino 1.5GHz, 40Gb combo 15", 2.36kg.
As has already been mentioned the stock in the Outlet section changes constantly as they are mostly canceled orders, although i have noticed that the best deals tend to be there early in the morning, I ordered mine at 8am.
The best seem to have gone already but i will certainly be looking again tomorrow morning!
Good luck!!0
