SPRINGTIME ON THE FARM COMPETITION ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Competition opens at 10:00 on 01.04.2021
• Competition closes at 12:00 on 06.05.2021 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

Prize comprises:

1. One main prize for two adults, comprising:

1. An allowance of £100 per person (£200 total) towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer;
2. Two (2) nights’ hotel accommodation at Rudding Park, sharing a standard double/twin room on a bed and breakfast basis; (Full English or Continental);
3. Dinner allowance of £43 per person to use towards dinner on both evenings at Clocktower or Horto at Rudding Park
4. Access to Rudding Park’s indoor swimming pool and juniper log sauna;
5. Prize winner’s choice of either a round of golf at the hotel’s 18-hole Hawtree Course (excludes golf club/buggy hire) or two-hour access to the hotel’s Roof Top Spa and Garden;
6. Admission to Cannon Hall Farm; and
7. Return transfers between Rudding Park and Cannon Hall Farm.

2.5 runners-up prizes, each comprising:

A pair of 5 on the Farm Festival General admission day tickets for one day of the 2021 event taking place at Cannon Hall Farm over August bank holiday weekend: 28th, 29th and 30th August 2021. Event tickets to be supplied by Channel 5.

For the main prize:

1)The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.

2)The prize must be taken and completed within 12 months of the congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and cannot be taken during Christmas and New Year (19th December 2021 to 4th January 2022) or over any UK Bank Holidays (3rd May 2021; 31st May 2021; 30th August 2021; from 15th April 2022 to 18th April 2022; 2nd May 2022; 2nd June 2022; 3rd June 2022; 29th August 2022). The prize and its components are subject to availability and COVID-19 restrictions. Please note the certain hotel facilities  may be closed for a period due to COVID-19 restrictions.

3)Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companions adhere to the local laws in the UK.

4)Access to the Rooftop Spa is for 16 years +, the indoor swimming pool offers twice daily ‘splash times’ for children, where they need to be accompanied by an adult.

5)The prize excludes transport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.

6)It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

7)The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

8)There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

9)Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

10)An allowance towards UK travel costs will be provided to the winner only. The allowance is calculated at a set maximum of £100 per guest and will be made payable to the winner at the time of accommodation booking by the prize provider as a BACS transfer. This travel allowance will be paid to the winner up to a maximum of 2 guests/£200. Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the winner’s responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.
