I'm looking for a 1 year fixed term mortgage deal, but the minimum is normally 2 years. Does such a product exist?

Seen some but can't recall of the top if there were any restrictions.
might help to say if this is a purchase or remortgage. and the reasons you need a 1 year, there may be other options that fit you needs.
often it is ERC then a tracker product often does the job
if remortgage who is the existing lender.
if temporary borrowing to be paid off not all lenders will go for that if you tell them.0 -
Hi
Thanks for replying. It's a remortgage. The reason for the short fixed term is because I'm looking at getting some equity out the house for a loft conversion in a years time.

Most lender have extra borrowing options on all their rates and fixed terms.
Check your current lender first
If the LTV is decent you could just borrow now to be sure you have the money,
The track and switch when ready with extra might be an option.1
