MWT - I am not sure what you mean? We will approach the £10,000 from my partner as a gifted deposit. They will sign about that accordingly (ie that it is a gift and they have no interest in the house). We have done this previously. Is there something else I need to think about?0

Thanks dwsjarcmcd - that is a good idea. We have a nice house in a desirable village location - great school catchment. So I am anticipating being sold within 6 months.0

Is there something else I need to think about? It just depends on the lender, some are fine with that, some are not, just need to be sure your lender is one that is OK with having a source of a gifted deposit resident in the property...Will your partner be on the deeds?
