in Cutting tax
Hi,
Probably a slightly premature question since there are still 3 days left of the current tax year, but does anyone know how soon after the 5th of April can I complete and submit my 2020/21 tax return so that I can get the ball rolling with getting my higher rate pension tax relief from HMRC?
Thanks!

You don't need a P60 to complete a Self Assessment return.
Your final payslip of the year should have the information that your employer will use to create your P60.
Did you consider getting some provisional tax relief through your tax code rather than wait for the end of the tax year?
Remember 6 April is when you can file your return, it may be days/weeks before you get any refund due.1 -

It was unexpected that I was going to be able to make a large additional pension contribution.
So the information on my end of March payslip (monthly paid) or the RTI info on my personal tax account should be the same as what's on my P60 when it appears?0
