80th Birthday family gathering

Here's my conundrum - on 5th April my FIL will celebrating his 80th birthday with a big family knees-up somewhere in Bournemouth area. I've found a family room for £65/night with Travelodge at Ringwood, so with online discounted breakfasts for 4 of us [1 child] that comes to a grand total of £163 and change. Now, can that be beaten in any way? Should I, for example, hold off from booking now in the hopes that Travelodge will release another tranche of Special Offer rooms? Or have I got the best deal going?
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Sorry can't help with the booking side of things but remember to go through quidco to get some cashback.0

You might get more response to theis question on the travel board. I'm no expert on this but are the Travelodge rooms able to be cancelled with full refund (assuming you give 48+ hours notice)? If so, I would book the Travelodge rooms as a 'back-up' but continue searching for a bargain! Nearer the time you might find something cheaper on laterooms.co.uk or Lastminute.com etc.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
