Hi. Is this one a continuation from the ‘make me a winner’ competition? I’m just wondering If we have to say ‘make me a winner’ if we’re lucky enough to be selected? I have read through all the terms and conditions and can’t see anything mentioned. Thanks.

Comping_Rich's posts are very comprehensive so, if they don't mention having to say a phrase when you pick up the phone, rest assured that you don't have to.

Hi i listen to absolute and the rules they state are to answer within 5 rings and only say make me a winner!

I've been listening to Planet Rock on and off for a few days while I'm in the kitchen, I've not heard it state you need to say "make me a winner" at any point. I listened again to a recording of this morning's show with Paul Anthony, and he talks about the competition from 2:30:08 hrs into the 4:00:00 hr show.

That was a previous competition for "make me a winner". If you're not convinced, please listen to the radio yourself for an hour or two - the comp pops up at least once or you can check a previous show and zip through it to find mention of the competition.

Thanks for the replies. It’s just one of those you really don’t want to get wrong if you’re lucky enough to get the call 😂 so wanted to doubly make sure I hadn’t missed anything in the t’s & c’s.

This is a one-off competition that is not related to Make Me a Winner or Cash Register.

This one is 15 entries for a chance to win £100,000 today where they will be calling shortly after 5pm. You don't need to remember/state the winning amount or say any phrase when answering. You will just chat with the presenter.

There is a separate competition for £100,000 today running on the radio that is Cash Register Easter Special, also 15 entries. This call will be around 3pm and you will need to remember the amount. I would recommend setting an alarm for 3 and 5 so that you answer your phone on time if you enter both competitions.

Does anyone know if the competition has been cancelled?  I am listening to planet rock and they have said a change to the usual programming but nothing about whether the competition is cancelled or postponed.
