New mortgage offer in temp accommodation

Currently in process of buying a new property, issues with upper chain has meant I proceeded to sell my property and have now moved in with the inlaws to wait on my purchase.

My issue is my mortgage offer ends at the start of May, it has been in place for 6 months and will not be extended.

With the likelihood of delays for my sellers onward purchase it looks as though my current mortgage offer will expiry, my broker has said lender will not extend and a new application will be required.

My question is about my temporary address for new application, is this going to be a problem, should I update all my accounts to new temp address?, do I need to sign onto the electrol role here? I won’t have any credit history from temp address?

There is a possibility we could complete before my current offer expires but with covid delays I probably should get a new offer rolling.

Any advice much appreciated.

@cheddar765 You mention that you're using a broker in your post. If you haven't already,  I would recommend asking them what they suggest as they know the whole scenario.

Generally speaking, due to the stamp duty deadline, I've seen an increased number of clients not wait for the chain, and move into rented/temp accommodation, and it's never been a problem getting them a mortgage because of that reason.
