20cogs

I've just come across this site. It seems you have to complete all 20 sign ups and then they will pay you out. Is it worth doing? What if you do 19 of them and find that you already have an account with the 20th one so  you can't get paid out? I get the feeling that quite a lot could go wrong with this.

I suspect the chance of successfully getting paid anything is close to zero!

I did this last year, completed all 20 in about 2 months and got paid out over £230. You get a few options on each cog but a lot of offers were repeated on the different cogs.

It worked really well for as it was the first time I’d done cash back offers. Most of the best payers were betting/bingo sites some of which I then managed to make a profit using the welcome offers. If you’ve done a lot of cash back offers or matched betting, you won’t be able to earn so much and it might not be for you.

Overall I found the site easy to use and where the offers didn’t track their customer service for dealing with tickets was actually really good.
  • So what happens to your personal data? How many databases are your most commonly reused usernames and passwords in?

This is an issue with all these sites that provide cash back for doing offers (Swagbucks, Quidco etc) and the internet in general to be fair!

I use a separate email address for offers and try to use a range of usernames and passwords but it is an issue. I particularly worry about entering my card details all over the place so tend to make sure that go back and delete my card details. I also switch banks most years which I guess helps with this a bit.

does anyone know anything about 20cogs uk  ? It’s a work from home employer part time and full time I saw them looking advertising on the Reed employment website but it sounded like it wasn’t legit and I couldn’t find out to much about them.
    thanks

I do know that as a user, your chances of ever completing all 20 cogs and getting paid out (without spending money yourself) are virtually nil. So I suppose it's a good money-making scheme for the website itself.
