Yet it is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick if these are on your shopping list anyway.PLRFD said:Rubbish they don’t even try anymore. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I like the Nut Bars, but only buy them on offer.
400g of Cheese for £1.39 is also very good VFM.1 -
And it's nice cheddar - it's what I normally buy anyway and ha a best before date about 4 months ahead.Cornucopia said:

What's the cheese offer in England?
While the mature cheddar in Scotland (Aberdoyle) is nice enough it is not a patch on the extra mature.0 -
It's the Valley Spire Mature in England @ £1.39duncanthedog said:What's the cheese offer in England?

One comment about these blocks of cheese, for some reason they tend to get wet in the packet and then mouldy if bought more than a couple of months ahead of consumption. I can't fathom it but since I worked it out I have stuck to buying single 900g blocks that work out at less than £4/kg each rather than multiples of the Valley Spire when on offer. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

In my area it's the extra mature in the purple pack, at £1.39 for 400g, down from £1.791
