    Yes, just tell them your new address.

    Stop your direct debits now if you are going to stop payment.
  • Would anyone happen to know the HSBC postal address I should direct it to? I looked on their site and their contact us info does not include writing to them. I found a Customer Service Centre address & a card services address on a statement if sending a cheque payment, that is all. Thanks

  • I am in a similar situation as OP, but currently living in a EU state. I have a few credit card debts, largest one of which is £6k and the other under £3k and 2.5k respectively. I have recently stopped my DD, due to inability to afford them, but should I inform my creditors that I have been living abroad for the past 6 months and intend to remain here? I would rather not have any CCJs against me, as I do intend to return to UK one day.

    It's probably best to start your own thread outlining your position. A question on the end of a years' old thread risks confusing matters and will garner few responses
