I worked at Halifax building society for 10 years and have a pension from that job that I will received when I am retiring. It will work out at about £20 a month. I have worked in the civil service for the last 12 years and I have a Nuvos pension there. Am I best moving my old Halifax pension into my Nuvos? is that possible? any advice gratefully received.

Are you sure of that figure? After being employed there for ten years?
Were you in the Defined Benefit Scheme?

The pension is the your tomorrow pension, sorry I meant to say about £20 a week once I turn 62.
does that sound like the right figure?
thanks0 -
what years did you work there and were a member of the scheme? You may find that inflation increases have substantially increased the amount payable. Do you have a recent statement of deferred benefits? If not, I suggest you contact the administrators for an up-to-date value.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple1 -
Isn't "Your Tomorrow" the Defined Contribution Scheme?
