I’ve been looking at solar. The best quote I’ve had so far is:
10 x JA Solar 385M (12 year manufacturer warranty, 25 year 80% warranty)
1 x Giv Energy 3.7T Hybrid with Wi-Fi monitoring (10 year warranty)
10 x Tigo panel optimisers with cloud access (25 year warranty)
1 x Giv Energy 8.2kWH battery 80% DoD (10 year warranty)
Estimated yield using SEM, 3383 units in year 1
Total £8,150
Any comments please?

Presuming that the inverter is 3.7kW this seems over spec for 3,85kW of panels?
Why do you need optimisers? There needs to be a decent justification to spend money on them.
A good few of us on here have batteries. Almost all will admit that financially they don't quite justify the cost.
You can check out the estimated yield for yourself. I hope someone else can direct you to the website. If not I'll find it. Or post up here rough location and orientation of the system and someone may check it out for you. If the estimate is inaccurate then I'd suggest it says a lot about the trustworthiness of the installer.
Whether quotes have changed recently I don't know but there was a common target of £1k per kW for a while. This without the battery.
It would be good to mention the installer as some may have experience of them.
I would always get a number of quotes.
I hope others will have better advice but hopefully this is a starting point.Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.
Install 2: Sept 19, 600W SSE
Solax 6.3kWh battery4
