Hi all,
I was looking to get an idea on how long NatWest take to process mortgage applications currently? Specifically porting a mortgage if that makes any difference.

We’ve applied via a mortgage broker who submitted the application today.
Also, I notice they did a hard check when the AIP was done, which was then approved, I take that to be a good sign would i be correct?
Worried about getting this far (reserved new house and sold ours) to fall at the final hurdle! Anyone been approved in principle then declined?
Thanks

I have only ever (in 10 years) had one application declined with natwest after it passed the DIP. We resubmitted the application a month or so later and had it accepted (it was declined on pay day loans). If you have passed the DIP it is a pretty good indication you should be ok.
If submitted today, you might have some news before the weekend.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
