Furlough dispute

I was on two days furlough during December 2020 and disputed my furlough payment as it looked low. My employer’s explanation.....
” as a default we take working days as five days per week, therefore 23 working days in December 2020.” “ in line with HMRC guidance the furlough payments are calculated per calendar day in the month , 31 days for December 2020.”
Therefore my employer has deducted two days salary at one rate, and paid my furlough at 80% of a lower rate.

I have checked HMRC and don’t agree with this as it states “ you can claim 80% of an employees usual salary for hours not worked. You must pay your employee at least 80% of the usual wages for the hours that they are furloughed and not working.”
Would you agree I should still dispute this or am I misunderstanding it?
