Very poor credit - mortgage

Hi all

I have very poor credit rating, which I’ve been trying to build up in the past year. But with a default, a CCJ and most recently a payday loan (though paid straight away) I know my credits not good. Unfortunately this year has been hard as my mother was diagnosed with cancer and lost her job so had to try and make ends meet. Regardless I have saved 10% for a deposit and have seen a property I like. I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a good mortgage broker that can maybe help me get a mortgage despite my bad history.

thanks

@londoner0707 At 90% LTV with a default and CCJ, you are likely down to very few potential lenders. When were they registered? If less than 3 years old it'll be a struggle

  • CCJ is about 3/4 years old. Default  is 2 years old. Do you think I have a shot?
  • Just to add, CCJ is satisfied and so default is settled.
