hi all, we are going to put extension on our home.
could someone advise me on good websites to use to look at which is best to do, remortgage or home loan.
We currently have good equity in home and the approx amount we require is £35k.
thanks

It depends on your circumstances, the payback period, the period over which you could spread the funds and the rates you can get on each.0

Typically in the UK, the most unsecured debt you will get in a loan is 20-25k, some sort of mortgage advanced might well be cheaper given the low interest rates

I disagree with this. Income depending, I have seen loans for much more.Deleted_User said:Typically in the UK, the most unsecured debt you will get in a loan is 20-25k, some sort of mortgage advanced might well be cheaper given the low interest rates
