Getting mortgage with intention to move to another area and new job

My husband and I are planning a move to the Hebrides in Scotland.  I earn more than him and also have ability to work remotely but he will need to change his job when we eventually move.  I'm wondering will any lenders consider a joint application with this scenario or is it more likely they will only give us a mortgage based on my income?
I know they will be looking for information to confirm that he has been working in solid employment until now, but do lenders ask where our intention is to buy and how that will affect current employment?  We have an appointment with a broker in a few weeks but would be helpful to understand or hear from others in this situation and how they handled it?  Many thanks

@jmac1975 If your husband works at a fixed location and you want to use his income for a purchase that is outside commuting distance, your best bet would be for him to find a new job (that either can be wfh or is located in the Hebrides) and use the job offer (a few lenders will consider).
It's very unlikely that his income will be considered if the above doesn't apply.

Lender will ask where your intention is to buy as they will be using your home as security.

Therefore, unless your husband has earned income that fits with that location his income will not be considered.

Bear in mind that Lenders can be tricky about lending off of the mainland North of the border.
