Bad credit

Hi, my mother in law has recently passed away and left her house to my partner & his sister. We want to buy his sister out but have bad credit. We have 50% equity & around £25k deposit towards the mortgage. What are the chances of getting accepted?

It'll depend on your credit history, income and mortgage required, amongst other things.

@clairewebb_2 At less than 50% LTV, on its own your credit history would have to be spectacularly poor to stop you from getting a mortgage. Of course, as the poster above mention, the non credit-history related parts also need to stack up.
