We had loans from provident and it was discovered that their agent had taken out loans in our name, unfortunately the said agent committed suicide before this was discovered, we didn’t do anything about it, is it too late now?

Without knowing the dates in question it's difficult to guide you. The agent's suicide is immaterial if the loans were fraudulent

When did you take the loans 
When were they paid off
When did the agent take out loans
